The chronicle is empty. No petition has been heard yet.
These are mock answers from a fake model, recorded while developing without an API key.
The state as sent, the ten questions of the first call with every answer's full distribution, the advisor's second call, and the arithmetic that turned them into a decision. Back to the whole chronicle.
A reign ends when any meter reaches 0 or 100. A good balance kills from both edges. Fewer years is a better score for the player. A reign that heard a petition the player wrote is left out here and everywhere below except the trap reading: the numbers are the model on the authored deck.
Each king is prompted with a flaw. Gold-edged petitions play to it, and their tempting option is always the first one. Wanted the bait is how often the in-character answer favoured that option; took the bait is how often the crown actually chose it after the advisor's counsel and the roll. The same first-option rate on other petitions is the control.
When a meter sits within 20 of an edge, the second call asks a sober advisor which option keeps it away. The safer option is computed from the model's own forecasts from the first call, so this measures whether the advisor reads numbers it was just given consistently.
Alongside the decision, the model is asked whether the petition is a manipulation. If the read is any good, petitions written to exploit the king's flaw should score higher than the rest.
Eight consequence forecasts per turn, one per faction per option, on a five-level rubric. The prompt is tuned so that "unchanged" is the usual answer; this is the live share of each level.
What the model wanted and what the crown did, per petition, across every king that heard it.
The same petition put to the same temperament should draw the same answer. These are the cases where it did not, ranked by how evenly the answers split.
Newest first. Wants is the in-character answer, knows the advisor's, blend the wisdom-weighted mix the decision was rolled against. Bars show the share for the first option. C, P, A, T are Church, People, Army and Treasury: the state before the decision, then the change it caused. Player-written petitions are recorded but their text is not shown.
